You may need to request an API Key if LTL freight rates from XPO suddenly stop appearing on your online store.
It appears that XPO may have deprecated an old API that allowed customers to connect to their XPO account without an API Key. If you used to get LTL freight rates on your online store through one of Eniture Technology's products, and now you don't, you may need XPO to provide you with an API Key.
Step 1: Confirm Your Connection Settings
Open the Connection Settings page for the XPO integration. Check to see if you have something entered into the API Key field. If the product you're using has a drop-down field that can be used to select Old API or New API, select the option for New API.
Step 2: Request an API Key
If you discover that you're missing an API Key, email LTLWebAPISupport@xpo.com. In your email, include the following information:
- Your Web User ID - if you don't have one, you can register here.
- Indicate that you are doing an integration with the RATING REST API.
- Indicate that you do not want a JAVA SDK.
- Convey that the XPO LTL integration method is using XML.
You should receive an email containing your API Key within 24 hours (1 business day) of making your request. The API Key will resemble something like this (example below not a working API key):

Remove any text that appears before or after the API Key. Extraneous text before the API Key will be followed by a space and extraneous text after the API Key will be preceded by a space. The API Key will not contain any spaces.
Step 3: Enter the API Key into the Connection Settings Page
Return to the Connection Settings page for the XPO LTL Freight Quotes integration that you're using from Eniture Technology. Enter the information prompted for.
