Instructions on how subscribers to the GlobalTranz, Unishippers, or Worldwide Express apps/plugins can connect to the New API.
GlobalTranz, Unishippers, and Worldwide Express share the same ownership. Unishippers and Worldwide Express merged in 2017. GlobalTranz merged with them in 2021. Until June 2023, the companies maintained their separate shipping platforms and related application programming interfaces (APIs). Beginning in June 2023, the companies began migrating customers to their new consolidated shipping platform and APIs. Migrating their entire customer base is expected to take approximately six months.
Merchants that are or will be affected by the migration subscribe to one or more of the apps or plugins listed below:

Making the Switch to the New API
If you've been provided with or retrieved a "Client ID" and "Client Secret" for your account, your account has been migrated. This nomenclature is unique to the new API.
In the app/plugin settings, navigate to the Connection Settings page. Change the entry for the Which API Will You Connect To? setting to "New API" by selecting the option from the dropdown. Also, enter your "Client ID", "Client Secret", and any other information you're prompted for.
If your e-commerce store is Magento or WooCommerce, you will have a setting for the Plugin License Key. The license key will remain the same.
Save the changes to the Connection Settings page. Afterward, click the button to test the connection and confirm that the test was successful.
"I have my Client ID and Client Secret, but the Legacy API still works."
Through a collaborative effort, Eniture Technology and Worldwide Express (inclusive of GlobalTranz and Unishippers) have taken measures to redirect API requests from migrated accounts to the new API when the Which API Will You Connect To? setting is not properly set to the "New API". This may give the illusion that the legacy API still works even though it isn't. Accounts that have been migrated can't access the legacy API post-migration. If you have a been given or have retrieved a "Client ID" and "Client Secret", it is imperative that the Connection Settings page be updated accordingly. Failing to do so may result in service disruptions at a later date.
"My API Connection Is Failing!"
If you suddenly discover that your app/plugin for GlobalTranz, Unishippers, or Worldwide Express has stopped working, it's possible that your account was migrated.
