Shoppers who receive an abandoned cart link from Shopify merchants may witness the following error when attempting to recover their shopping cart:
The error is a known issue in Shopify's programming that affects all apps that retrieve carrier calculated rates. We reported the issue to Shopify on behalf of one of our subscribers on October 4, 2018. On October 5, Shopify acknowledged it as an issue with its platform and requested additional information to aid its efforts to reach a resolution. A projected resolution date was not identified.
To clear the error, perform the following steps:
Shipping rates should be returned provided there are no other contributing factors. While a change to the first name was suggested in the steps above, a minor change to any of the information entered on the Customer Information page will be sufficient.
