Day & Ross Announcement Details
Day & Ross announced that it will be transitioning from its SOAP API to its new REST API beginning March 7, 2026. The cutover is mandatory for all customers using the Day & Ross API. The cutover window ends after March 9, 2026. After March 9, API transactions using the SOAP API will fail.

Prior to March 1, each of these products will receive updates to support the Day & Ross cutover to the REST API. Once the update is available, merchants can access the product's connection settings for Day & Ross and enter their Day & Ross REST API credentials.
How do I update the Eniture Technology product I use for the REST API?
The Eniture Technology product updates will be available by March 1. Even then, you will not be able to successfully connect to the Day & Ross API until March 7. You can, however, enter your REST API credentials and save them in preparation for the cutover.

FreightDesk Online: The update will be available automatically. Navigate to Settings > Connections and click the Edit link for Day & Ross.
- LTL Freight Quotes - Day & Ross Edition for Shopify: The update will be available automatically. Navigate to App > Day & Ross LTL Freight Quotes > Connection Settings.
- LTL Freight Quotes - Day & Ross Edition for WooCommerce: Check for an update to the plugin by navigating to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Locate the LTL Freight Quotes - Day & Ross Edition plugin. Update the plugin if an update is available and wasn't automatically applied. Afterward, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Day & Ross > Connection Settings.
- Real Time Shipping Quotes for BigCommerce: The update will be available automatically. Navigate to Apps > Real Time Shipping Quotes by Eniture Technology > Shipping Providers. Click the Connection Settings link for the Day & Ross integration.
- Real Time Shipping Quotes for Shopify: The update will be available automatically. Navigate to Apps > DIY Real Time Shipping Quotes. Click the Connection Settings link for the Day & Ross integration.
Updating the REST API connection settings before March 7
While viewing the Connection Settings page:

Select REST API from the dropdown field related to the API endpoint.
- Enter your REST API credentials into the provided fields.
- Click the SAVE button.
- Return to the API endpoint dropdown field and reset it to SOAP API.
- Click the SAVE button and then the TEST CONNECTION button to ensure that you're still connected to the SOAP API endpoint.
The product will continue to connect to the SOAP API, but your REST API credentials will be saved in preparation for the cutover.
You won't be able to test the REST API connection until March 7.
Between March 7 and March 9, return to the Connection Settings page, and choose REST API from the dropdown field. Click the SAVE button, and then the TEST CONNECTION button. If you see an alert informing you that the test was successful, then you're now connected to the REST API and have completed the cutover.
Updating the REST API connection settings between March 7 & March 9
While viewing the Connection Settings page:

Select REST API from the dropdown field related to the API endpoint.
- Enter your REST API credentials into the provided fields.
- Click the SAVE button.
- Click the TEST CONNECTION button. If you get an alert informing you that the test was successful, then your connected to the REST API and have completed the cutover.
If your connection test failed, confirm that you entered them correctly. If the connection continues to fail after correcting the credentials, contact Day & Ross to verify your API credentials.
Where do I get my Day & Ross REST API credentials?
Day & Ross has been notifying customers by email of their new API credentials for the REST API. Day & Ross customers began receiving these emails on January 28, 2026. If you aren't in receipt of this email, you need to contact your Day & Ross account representative, or Day & Ross customer service.
